great for healthy lunches : Lock&Lock Lunch Box Set with Black Bag and Water Bottle
I purchased this item to send my child to school with more healthy lunches.
Upon opening it I was surprised at how small it was compared to standard lunch boxes. I was worried it would be to small for lunches, however when I started using it I was more suprised at just how much food it can hold (more then my child generally eats at lunch time.) It is easy to mix things up a little. For example if you take out the water bottle there is plenty of room in it for a juice box, silverware, and extra snacks. And I can still use it for standard 'sandwich' lunches if so deisred by removing the lock&lock containers.
I did fill up the containers and give them the 'shake test' to see how air tight they were, as I considered soup for lunch.
They preformed very well. They were not 100% leak proof, they leaked a few drops, but they did well enough I would feel safe sending soup (who really shakes their lunch that vigorously anyways?)
The one thing I did notice however is that nowhere on the containers did they state that they were BPA-free plastic. This is one thing I was looking for ,and since it did not say so on the packaging you kind of have to take the word of Amazon.
